Visitors are required to possess a passport valid for 6 months from the date of travel, Entry visa is also required for most countries, A tourist visa is valid for a period of 4 weeks and may be either single or multiple entry, depending on your need & you travel plans, some nationalities can obtain the entry visa at Cairo airport as USA, Canada, England, Europe Union countries as France, Italy, Holland, Germany, Spain, Greece …. Also Sweden, Switzerland but most of the other countries need to get visa from the Egyptian embassy before arrival. visa coasts at Cairo airport 15 USD or the equivalent in English pounds or Euro (only those 3 currencies are acceptable to buy the entry Visa) it can be bought from any bank located before the passport control & it must be paid in cash & not credit card. Very few countries as Italy can enter the country without Passport using only their ID but tourist must acquire 2 personal Photos beside the valid ID |
